Your First Listing

This guide walks you through creating your first listing on Atlas PMS, from signing up to going live and taking your first booking.

Have these ready — it makes setup much faster:

  • Property details — name, address, and property type.
  • Photos — between 8 and 12 photos per room (8 is the minimum to publish).
  • Your nightly rate in ₹.
  • Razorpay account keys — required for guests to pay you (you can add these just before publishing).
  • PAN and bank account — needed before money is paid out, but not required to publish. You can add them within 14 days of going live.
  • GSTIN — only if your business is registered for GST.

Start your free trial from atlaspms.in, then log in at app.atlaspms.in/login. New accounts get a 30-day free trial.

After signing up, verify your email using the link Atlas sends you. Email verification is required before you can publish a listing.

Step 2 — Complete your profile and accept the Terms

Section titled “Step 2 — Complete your profile and accept the Terms”

On first login you will see an onboarding checklist that tracks what is left to do. Two quick items unlock publishing:

  • Accept the Terms of Service.
  • Add your contact WhatsApp / mobile number so guests (and Atlas alerts) can reach you. If you entered a valid Indian mobile at signup, this is already done.

Go to Homes to add your property, then add a room under it. Your first room (listing) is created for you automatically when you sign up. Open it under Rooms & prices and fill in the essentials:

  • Listing name, property, and room type
  • Maximum guests and bed configuration
  • Check-in and check-out times
  • Wi-Fi name and password (used in your guests’ check-in message)
  • Amenities and house rules

Tip: if your property is already on Airbnb, you can pre-fill the title, description, photos, and amenities from your public Airbnb listing URL.

Open the photos dialog on your listing and upload 8 to 12 photos. You need at least 8 for the listing to publish — this is one of the publish checks.

In Rooms & prices, set your base nightly rate in ₹. You can also add a weekend rate or uplift, and seasonal or festival pricing. A nightly price greater than zero is required to publish. For the full picture of GST and the guest-facing total, see Pricing and GST.

Open the Calendar to control which dates are open, block dates you are not taking, and set rules such as minimum stay and how far in advance guests can book. If you also list on OTAs, import their calendars with iCal sync so you do not get double-booked.

Go to Settings → Payment Provider and add your Razorpay key ID and secret. Guests pay through your own Razorpay account, so this must be set up before a guest can complete a booking. Atlas never collects payments into a shared account on your behalf.

When you publish, Atlas checks that you have:

  1. Added a contact phone number
  2. Accepted the Terms of Service
  3. Uploaded at least 8 photos on the listing
  4. Set a nightly price
  5. Verified your email

If anything is missing, Atlas tells you exactly what to fix. Your PAN and bank account are not required to publish — but add them within 14 days, because they are required before any payout is released (see Payments and Payouts).

Once you publish, your draft listing goes live and can take bookings.

  1. The guest pays through Razorpay and Atlas confirms the booking automatically.
  2. The guest receives a confirmation message, then check-in and checkout reminders.
  3. You get an instant host alert, and the booking appears on your Dashboard and in Bookings.

For exactly which messages go out and when, see Guest Notifications.

These are on the roadmap and not yet available — do not rely on them when setting up:

  • Atlas Sync — direct rate/availability push to OTAs (use iCal sync today; see Atlas Sync).
  • Automatic refunds on cancellation.
