Connecting your property to Airbnb, Booking.com and other channels
The Channel manager keeps your calendar, rates and bookings in step with channels such as Airbnb and Booking.com, so a room booked in one place is closed everywhere else. It is an optional module; see Packages and modules. If it is not switched on for you, the page tells you which plan is needed.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”On the Calendar, scroll down to the Channel manager section. It shows a status chip for each channel even when it is closed. A full page, Atlas Channel Manager, is also available through the Channel settings button on your Properties page.
Connect a property
Section titled “Connect a property”- Under Property, choose the property you want to connect.
- Press Connect OTA. The box OTA Connection Settings opens. Atlas manages the connection for you.
- Press Connect OTA channel. If the property has been set up once already, the button says Reconnect & sync listings instead.
- If some of your rooms are not yet on any channel, Atlas may show Request provisioning instead. Press it, and the Atlas team will add them for you.
- Once the property is connected, the list OTA Channels appears, with a Status for each channel.
Connect Airbnb, Booking.com and others
Section titled “Connect Airbnb, Booking.com and others”In the OTA Channels list, press the button next to the channel, for example Connect with Airbnb. The list offers Airbnb, Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Agoda and Expedia.
- For Booking.com, Atlas asks for your Hotel ID, the numeric code at the top of your Booking.com extranet. Type it and press Connect. If Booking.com asks you to approve the connectivity provider, approve it there.
- While a channel is being set up its status shows Pending…. When ready it shows Connected.
- For channels other than Airbnb, press Manage mapping after connecting, to match your Atlas rooms with the channel’s rooms.
When it says “Channel connection needs attention”
Section titled “When it says “Channel connection needs attention””A yellow banner says Your channel connection needs attention. Reconnect to resume rate and availability sync. Press Reconnect and follow the same steps as above.
If instead you see Could not check connection status, that does not mean you are disconnected. Press Retry before you connect again.
If you disconnect
Section titled “If you disconnect”Disconnecting a property can close its inventory on your channels, so that you are not overbooked while it is disconnected.
