Changing your base price so it applies to all dates
New-host offer: one booking-engine package includes the full PMS; Notifications and Channel manager are optional modules. See Packages and modules for prices, the 7-day trial and what is included. Existing paying hosts keep their agreement.
If you changed a price in Rooms & prices but the Calendar still shows the old price, those dates may have their own prices. Saving a base price does not replace a price already set for a particular date.
Which price applies?
Section titled “Which price applies?”Your base price is the fallback for dates without their own price. It includes your weekday price and your configured Friday/Saturday weekend price.
A per-date price overrides that fallback. Calendar edits, Bulk Update Price, copied prices and PriceLabs can create these prices. Check the relevant listing and dates in Calendar: the rate in each date cell is the price to inspect, including any override.
For example, if your base price changes from ₹2,000 to ₹2,500, a date with its own ₹3,000 price keeps ₹3,000. Clear that date’s override if you want the base price to apply instead.
Clear prices you no longer want
Section titled “Clear prices you no longer want”- Save the weekday and weekend base prices you want in Rooms & prices.
- Open Calendar, then Rate Ops.
- In Rate Operations, choose Clear rates in range.
- Choose the Listing. You clear one listing at a time.
- Set Start date (inclusive). To clear a range, also set End date (inclusive, optional) to the last date you want included.
- Select Clear rates to preview the affected overrides. Review the count and the resolved start and end dates before you confirm.
- If those dates and the count are right, use the confirmation button, Clear N rates. If they are not, cancel and adjust the range.
- Return to the Calendar and check the cleared dates. They fall back to the listing’s base price; Atlas sends the rate change through Channel manager for connected channels.
Keep intentional prices safe
Section titled “Keep intentional prices safe”- Festival and season prices are overrides too. Clearing a range removes those intentional prices along with unwanted ones. Choose your range carefully.
- PriceLabs can write prices again. If it is connected, its next update can put per-date prices back. Review your PriceLabs configuration before expecting a permanent return to base pricing.
- Repeat for each listing. Clearing one listing does not clear the others.
- Existing confirmed bookings keep their agreed price. This changes calendar pricing for future bookings.
If clearing does not finish
Section titled “If clearing does not finish”If the preview finds no overrides, check the listing and dates before trying again. If Atlas shows an error, keep the message, return to the Calendar and inspect the dates before retrying. Do not assume a change succeeded just because you pressed the button.
Deleted overrides are recorded in the pricing audit log for recovery. If you cleared intentional prices, contact Atlas support with the listing, date range and approximate time of the change.
See Pricing and GST for the broader pricing guide.
